The White Horse is a historic inn at the heart of the village of Ditchling, situated at the foot of the Sussex south downs, showcasing plenty of local history.
The pub offers a wonderful place to eat, drink or sleep, with fresh, seasonal, locally sourced food, a well stocked bar offering local ales and a choice of varying accommodation with its 7 bedrooms.
With real ales sourced not only from Sussex, but across the counties, the bar also offers a great selection of wines and lagers. The comprehensive wine list will appeal to a wide range of tastes and is regularly updated to compliment our changing seasonal special board.

We have a spacious area with plenty of tables and chairs, and a lovely new outdoor area made into booth seating which is a delightful sun trap when the weather is good.
